If you have decided to settle permanently in Burgas, you have not made a mistake. One of the largest cities in Bulgaria, located in the easternmost part of the Burgas Bay, has twice been recognized as the best place to live in Bulgaria. The city received a special award, the winners of which are determined by the residents of the country, in 2010 and in 2015.
Of course, for a successful property investment it is very important to understand the infrastructure of the city and its districts. We can help you find your way around!
One of the most popular neighborhoods in Burgas is Lazur. The neighborhood is located next to the Primorsky Park and the city beach, bordering with Zornitsa, Vzrazhdane, Bratya Miladinovi and the central part of the city. In the Lazur quarter there are Russian gymnasium and secondary school, kindergartens and health care institutions, sports stadium, tennis courts and even a riding school. The developed infrastructure of the neighborhood and its good location are not only the key to the popularity of the neighborhood, but also the reason for rather high prices for housing, compared to other areas of Burgas.

To the north of the Lazur neighbourhood lies the Zornitsa district. In recent years, new buildings have been actively constructed here. The quarter is equipped with many medical facilities: two hospitals, a polyclinic, a medical center and an ambulance center. There are also several sports halls, a primary school, a kindergarten and three gymnasiums: an English, a German and a professional building school.
The next quarter – Vzrazhdane, unlike the previous ones, is famous for its abundance of entertainment and cultural centres. There is a nightclub, youth cultural center, puppet, drama and opera and ballet theatres. Also, in Vjezrazhdanen there is a picturesque park Borisovata Gradina, several schools, kindergartens and the free Burgas University. As far as infrastructure is concerned, the area borders with the central part of the city and is in close proximity to the harbor and the railway station.
Meden Mine is the newest, fastest growing and densely populated neighbourhood of the city. One of the biggest pluses of the neighbourhood is the affordable property prices, which are only increasing every year. In Meden Rudnik there are four schools, a technical school of shipbuilding and mechanical engineering, a sports complex, a shop of the chain “Mr. Bricolage” and a park “Meden Rudnik”.
Situated in the Burgas Bay on a hill on the Black Sea coast, the resort quarter of Sarafovo is a favorite destination for foreigners. Thanks to its location, the sea in Sarafovo stays warm until October, which means that the holiday season here lasts longer. The proximity to both seaside resorts and the city center, together with the developed infrastructure, make the Sarafovo quarter extremely attractive for recreation and living. The streets here are mostly straight and wide, there are many public gardens, and there is also a school.
