Vacations far away from overcrowded summer seaside resorts, walks in the mountains, opportunities for hiking or riding an electric bicycle – all these and many other opportunities for true relaxation are offered by the resort town of Bansko in the Pirin Mountains, which is opening its summer tourist season today.
The town, which has established itself among the most popular winter resorts in Europe, offers many sporting attractions to its summer visitors as well. In Bandarishka Glade, for example, there is a small entertainment complex equipped with a climbing tower, a shooting range, mini soccer and mini golf courses, a 400-meter water slide, etc. The complex is located in the area of Bansko.
In July in Bansko there are also scheduled open-air screenings of popular Bulgarian movies, a festival of school orchestras, enduro motorcycle races (cross-country).
