This was announced by BNT Director Milena Milotinova. Milotinova specified that the two semifinals will take place on May 11 and 13, and the final will be held on Saturday, May 15.
The 2027 Eurovision Song Contest will be held at Arena Burgas.
It is an honor and a privilege for Burgas to host the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov. “I want to thank BNT and the EBU for this unique opportunity given to Burgas and the region to showcase the beauty of Bulgaria. Thanks to Burgas, all guests and fans watching the live broadcast will be able to experience the spirit of Bulgaria,” he added.
According to him, Burgas Airport is expected to handle 21 flights per hour, which translates to 18,000 passengers.
“It was a tense and arduous process, so congratulations to Burgas! You have taken on a great responsibility, and I hope the main winner will be the large international audience that will visit Burgas. This selection marks the beginning of the next key phase in Bulgaria’s preparations to host Eurovision 2027.” BNT, the EBU, and Burgas will need to work closely together to organize a contest that will live up to the high expectations of millions of viewers around the world. “I am convinced that Bulgaria will be a worthy host of Europe’s largest musical television event and will showcase the very best of its culture, hospitality, and professionalism,” said Milena Milotinova, Director General of BNT.
